Dr. Vandana K E is a Professor in the Department of Microbiology at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, and Co-ordinator of the Centre for Antimicrobial Resistance and Education (CARE), MAHE. Her areas of interest include AMR, Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS), Infection Prevention and Control, invasive bacterial infections, and diagnostic stewardship.
She holds the Dr TMA Pai Endowment Chair in AMS and the AMSP Certification from the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID). She has been recognised as SHEA International Ambassador 2016. She has 135 publications to her credit.Dr Jain delivered the Dr Swati Bhave Oration and the Dr M.K.C. Nair Oration at the 2014 Ludhiana Conference.
